Café Europa

The Azrieli Foundation Cafe Europa Program provides bi-monthly social gatherings and support groups for Holocaust Survivors and Child Survivors, both at Baycrest and in the community. Once per month Baycrest also runs a support group for Second Generation Survivors, making attendance and participation open to more people. Where possible, all programmes are offered both in-person and virtually.

The Café is for people who survived concentration camps, labour camps, exile, were in hiding, or were members of resistance and partisan groups. It is a chance to visit with old friends, meet new ones, hear stimulating lectures, join lively discussions, listen to music, and have a good time.

A social worker coordinates the program and is available to Café Europa participants. For more information, please contact Anne Max at AMax@baycrest.org
