Gardening at Baycrest

Getting outdoors is good for your physical and mental health. It's been shown to lighten mood and lower levels of stress and anxiety. Gardening also brings people together and strengthens social connections.

The gardens at Baycrest are home to many varieties of plants, flowers, herbs, and berries. The gardens are a community project, and are cared for by the Therapeutic Recreationists, clients, and caregivers at Baycrest. These videos show the joy of getting outside and enjoying the garden.
