Gloria Lipski

Music Therapist

Gloria is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Certified Music Therapist (MTA) and Master of Arts in Music Therapy (Concordia University) and Ethnomusicology (University of Toronto). She has worked as a music therapist in Toronto since 2014 in long-term care and geriatric hospital settings, as well as with adults and children with disabilities and/or on the autism spectrum. She is a qualified music therapy supervisor and serves on the Equity & Diversity Committee of the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT). Gloria edited the CAMT’s clinical magazine, Ensemble, and co-coordinated the Toronto Area Music Therapists social meet-up group for several years. Her approach stresses the importance of identity and social context, and closely aligns with person-centred care and a value for connection and belonging.
