The Ronald & Nancy Kalifer Culture Hub

November 2024 – April 2025

Explore the world of bodies in motion through a curated and multi-sensory photography exhibition by artist Beverley Abramson.

Abramson’s long-term evolving study, Gotta Dance: the Exotic Language of the Body, chronicles the power of the universal language of music and the relationship between sound, motion and emotion, specifically through disparate dance forms and cultures. Dance movement creates a common language that transcends borders connecting people the world over. Her work, both soulful and playful, expresses the artistry, magnetism and athleticism of dance and movement.

The interpretation of motion is the foundation of her work. She maneuvers to sustain energy whether of dancers, spirited horses, or stage life in diverse countries such as Argentina, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Iceland, India, Italy, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, and United States, and Zimbabwe.

Beverley Abramson’s photography exhibition will be on display until April 2025
